THINGS TO SEE IN THE VENETO REGION
FROM THE LAGOON TO THE EUGANEAN HILLS
From Il Treno dei Sogni you can reach Padua in 30 minutes, Venice in 50 minutes and the thermal baths of Abano and Montegrotto are very close by. There are cycling routes, food and wine itineraries and the famous wine cellars of the Vin Friularo. You can discover the trekking and Nordic walking trails of the Euganean Hills Regional Park and taste traditional local dishes in one of the local restaurants.

PADUA
It is the nearest city of art. Among its wonders we recommend Prato della Valle, one of the largest squares in Europe, the Basilica of St. Anthony, the oldest Botanical Garden in the world, the Scrovegni Chapel with frescoes by Giotto, the Piazza delle Erbe and Piazza della Frutta, the Caffè Pedrocchi and the ghetto with its narrow streets and shops of ancient tradition.

VENICE IS JUST A STONE'S THROW AWAY
Venice and the lagoon with the islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello are less than 1 hour by car. St Mark's Basilica, the Rialto Bridge, the Arsenal, La Fenice are just some of the most famous destinations. But Venice is beautiful even if you get lost among its calli discovering little bridges and hidden corners. Take a gondola ride at sunset, it will be an unforgettable experience.

WELLNESS AT THE THERMAL BATHS
Abano, Montegrotto and Galzignano form the largest thermal basin in Europe, the ideal place for "remise en forme" thanks to the benefits of its waters. There are numerous pools with Spa where you can spend relaxing moments with massages, mud baths, sauna, Turkish bath and therapeutic treatments.

TREKKING ON THE EUGANEAN HILLSI
There are countless paths through woods, vineyards, olive groves and meadows of the Regional Park of the Euganean Hills. More than 20 paths to get in tune with nature, enjoy wonderful views and visit churches, abbeys and castles along the way... or if you prefer wineries and oil mills.

CYCLING TOURISM IN THE VENETO REGION
Conselve is a stop on the cycle-tourist route that from Abano leads into the Paduan countryside among country roads, small villages, bridges and canals. You will find the Catajo Castle, Pontemanco, the Castle of San Pelagio and numerous old houses, gardens and barchesse (portico farm buildings).

VINEYARDS, CELLARS AND VILLAGES
We are in the home of the Vin Friularo, vinified by the winery in front of Il Treno dei Sogni. You can taste wines and spirits in the wine shops of the area and in the cellars of the Wine Road of the Euganean Hills. A visit to Arquà Petrarca, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy nestled among the vineyards, is a must.
